Brad joined SAP-America in 1998 to take his passion for Variant Configuration to the
next level.
He had just completed a year of PP consulting at Bridgestone-Firestone. Prior to that he had six years of service with Norand/Intermec Corp where he had been hand picked for the SAP implementation as a member of the PP team due to his integrity and drive for success.
Brad began his career with SAP-America as a Sales and Distribution (SD) consultant. His first
project as a SAP employee was the John Deere global implementation which lasted well over 2 years.
In addition to solution architect, Brad’s responsibility also included variant pricing and end-user training, developing and delivering the course himself.
During his nearly ten years with SAP America, Brad had been providing VC solutions to some of SAP’s
best known clients including Microsoft, Caterpillar, Wabash Int. and Spirit AeroSystems (a spinoff from Boeing). Brad was frequently tapped to perform Technical Solution Reviews in the VC area, which often
lead to future short term client engagements to “come back and fix all this stuff you found wrong”.
Another PLM colleague noted: “in an extremely complex Aerospace and Defense project, your VC solutions have been the key to satisfying the customer’s absolute configuration control requirements”.
As a principal consultant Brad has become a trusted advisor for the entire Variant Configuration
solution. This means not only VC’s integration to the SD and PP modules but also MM, FI, CO and Project Systems.
By using VC with Project Systems, Brad ensured clients got the most bang for the buck, by leveraging
standard networks as tool to get his clients own internal projects up and running that much faster.
Brad went independent in 2007.
